Community Connections
My Medicare Matters
This program is designed to help people 1-on-1 with signing up for the new Medicare program; this team will send health educators to your church or community building with computers to sign individuals up for Medicare. This is a free program: they can assist with making flyers, providing the publicity for your “My Medicare Matters” event. Participants are asked to please bring in all prescriptions in order to select the most appropriate prescription drug plan for their needs. Appointments generally range from 30 minutes – 1 hour.
This program is brought to you by the National Council of the Aging and the Access to Benefits Coalition. For more information, visit the “My Medicare Matters” website at www.mymedicarematters.org or to schedule a class, call Lisa Q. at (513) 227-5325. To schedule for a large event, contact Wendy Clark, Marketing Director in Cincinnati at (513) 235-5762.
